The Hush Before the Climb

Full Moon in Capricorn

Thursday July, 10, 2025

Today’s Full Moon is a threshold and a teacher.

At 13:36 PST, the Moon became full in Capricorn, and a rare mystic rectangle forms above us: the Moon and Sun aligned in harmony with the North Node in Pisces and the South Node in Virgo.

Earth and water pour down from the heavens, washing away what has bound you, like waves pulling debris back to the ocean, leaving behind a soft, clean stretch of sand. You stand barefoot in the hush of the moment, the quiet between exhale and inhale, the gatekeeper of your own next step.

Capricorn, the master builder, is the number 10 in the zodiac. It is the pause before ascending the spiral staircase, rising from where you have been and stepping into the next cycle of 1. The degree of today’s Full Moon degree adds up to 22, the Master Builder number, the Universe card, the final path on the Fool’s journey through the Major Arcana which also has 22 cards.

The number 22 also holds deep, ancient wisdom. It is the 22 pathways of the Tree of Life, each one a step toward divine consciousness. The Universe card teaches us that we are at home in the external world and at home in our internal world. It shows us that Nirvana is found in the union of the multiple parts of ourselves.

This is the mystical path with practical feet. It is the ability to walk with spirit while manifesting the resources your dream requires. To see the blueprint in your heart and hand it to the Architect of your life, trusting what is being built through you belongs here. The deeper teaching of the number 22 is the awareness that you are both the architect and the architecture, the dreamer and the dream, the one who writes the plan and the one who walks it.

This Full Moon whispers the same truth found on the path of the Tree of Life. Everything in your life, within and around you, is woven into the tapestry of your becoming.

And here, at the hush, you are invited to see what has bound you and what has already been set free.

The Devil, Capricorn’s card, reminds you that the things which enslave you are often of your own making. And it reminds you just as powerfully that you hold the key to your own release. It is also the only card in the Major Arcana that has undergone transformation within itself, not a linear step forward but a breaking open, a seeing-through, a liberation from illusion.

And consider this....Devil spelled backwards is lived. In the Middle Ages, when people were “living it up,” fully inhabiting life, this was condemned to make way for new systems of control. The goat, once a symbol of vitality, freedom, and abundance, was recast as evil. Yet spells live. And so do you.

Capricorn carries this dual gaze, the straightforward, unflinching eyes of the goat and the third eye of wisdom. This is the balance between magnetism and dynamism, the inner stillness to draw what you desire toward you, and the outer strength to act and build it into form. The law of attraction does not live outside of you, it lives within you. The goat’s third eye sees your internal shadows and bedevilments with clarity. And the eyes of Horus, protector and seer, remind you to shield yourself from the projections and considerations of others as you climb, keeping your gaze fixed on what only you can see, like the straightforward eyes of the goat.

To see yourself clearly and to build freely is your sacred right.

I pulled three cards for you today from the Thoth deck.

✦ Prince of Cups — Mastery of emotional desire, your capacity to move forward while simultaneously letting go. For women especially, this card represents dynamic emotional desire, represented by your animus within.

✦ Queen of Disks — A new world through diet and nutrition… hold ON, it’s not what you think. She sees clearly the nutrition that is needed for all areas of her life: finances, health, work, and relationships. She pioneers a stable diet in all areas of her life. This card nods to both Aries and Capricorn.

✦ Victory (Six of Wands) — This card allows us to feel expansive and fluid like Jupiter, and highly creative like Leo. PS: Leo season begins on the 22nd this year… just saying.

This is the teaching of the mystic rectangle and the nodes. We cannot stay bound by Virgo’s endless need for perfection, nor can we drift forever in Pisces’ dream of what might be. This is the moment where you bring the dream into form and in so doing, free yourself from the illusions that kept you small.

My dear soul…
What have you healed?
What have you rewritten?
What have you survived?

Take this hush to face your teacher, this teacher called life, and really see your lessons. Not as regrets. Not as scars. But as milestones.

Capricorn is the responsible adult who flips the light on when you come home late, and Cancer is the mother who tucks you in and whispers you are safe. Together, they say: It has been okay all along. You are okay. And you are ready.

Release the would-have, could-have, should-have under this Full Moon and stand in the unwavering knowing that you are exactly where you are meant to be. Destiny is calling you and it has a very big dream for you. Have courage that this Full Moon allows you the illumination you require to turn your gaze inward. Mars, quietly harmonizing this whole equation, lends you the drive and desire to make this inner gaze not only possible, but powerful.

What’s next
I created a downloadable handout for you, with your midpoint horoscope, a ritual, and these reflection questions:

What new direction is calling you?

What is the Master Builder within you asking for?

What blueprints will you hand the Architect of your life?

What dream is asking you to manifest its resources through you?

What does it mean, for you, to walk a mystical path with practical feet?

What debris are you leaving behind on the shore?

This is your hush, your milestone, your first step on the spiral staircase.

The Fool, The Lover & What's Next

Uranus in Gemini

Friday, July 11, 2025

I want to share a little context for today’s teaching about the Tarot.

The deck I use is the Thoth Tarot, and the understandings of the cards date way, way back, before modern Tarot was pulled apart from Astrology and psychology. Carl Jung taught us that “symbols are the psychological mechanism for transforming energy.” Right, my fellow Reiki practitioners? They also work as symbolic tools that strengthen your trust in your own intuition and inner knowing, creating space for self-fulfilling insights and deeper inner guidance.

Much of this was lost over time, but the Thoth Tarot preserves and weaves together symbolism from Egyptian, Greek, Eastern, Medieval, and Christian traditions. It also incorporates numerology, astrology, alchemy, and Qabbalah. This deck does not always follow modern interpretations. Instead, it returns to the deeper psychological and evolutionary underpinnings of Tarot, a tool for growth and transformation.

Yesterday I shared the teaching of the 22nd degree of the Full Moon, the Master Builder, and how it aligns with the Universe card, the final path on the Fool’s journey through the Major Arcana.

But there was one card I held back for today.

The Fool.

The Fool is both the beginning and the end. Numbered 0 in the Tarot, yet also corresponding to the 22nd path on the Tree of Life, it is the infinite potential that remains even after we have completed the journey. It waits until you believe the journey is over, only to remind you nothing is finished.

Everything is always beginning.

We continue our theme of the number 22 today with the Fool card, associated with Uranus. The Fool carries the wisdom of both beginnings and endings, just as Uranus in Gemini calls us to break patterns and choose again. Below you’ll find insight into Uranus in Gemini and grounding practices to help you move through its energy with clarity.

And isn’t that exactly what Uranus in Gemini asks of us?

Uranus, our planet of radical change, freedom, boundary breaking, eccentricity, technology, and genius, never lets us stay where we are. It has a long history of stirring things up because that is its job. To break you free of rigid patterns, to set you free, to fill your life with color again, and to help you tap into your own genius.

The question with Uranus in Gemini isn’t what it will shake up, but what it won’t.

We know we will see great advances in technology. The last time Uranus was in Gemini was 1941 to 1949, and before that, 1858 to 1866, each time bringing inventions, communication breakthroughs, and even the first computers for personal use. This time, with AI, Neuralink, and other technologies already in play, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see digital telepathy emerge, bypassing speech and text entirely.

Uranus enters Gemini July 7, 2025, retrogrades back into Taurus November 7, 2025, re-enters Gemini April 25, 2026, and remains there until May 22, 2033; another 22 marking this journey.

But Uranus in Gemini is about more than technology. It teaches us to give birth to new forms. New feelings, new ways of health and well-being, new ways of setting limits with people or situations that drain you, new compassion for your own vulnerability, and new creative vision in your work and relationships.

That is where The Lovers card comes in, the Tarot card of Gemini.

The Lovers teaches us that all relationships, friend, family, colleague, or deep love, require childlike innocence, curiosity, playfulness, loyalty, and commitment, along with the spaciousness to allow for contemplation, introspection, and solitude when needed. Relationships with people, ideas, and creative projects all demand sincerity as their foundation.

Uranus in Gemini, through the Fool and the Lovers, reminds us that relationships are not meant to bind, limit, or restrict you. They are meant to help you become whole while remaining free. The Lovers affirms our ability to make choices, to bring together two or more seemingly opposite things and create something greater.

If you’re already feeling Uranus stirring your mind and Gemini pulling you in a dozen directions, here’s a simple practice to bring you back to yourself.

It’s one of those practices people tend to roll their eyes at when I suggest it, until they actually try it. These are my favourite kinds of practices to give. A reminder the simple can hold deep meaning.

Sit with your feet flat on the floor. Rest your hands on your thighs. Close your eyes. Take a long, slow inhale through your nose and silently say to yourself, “I am here.” Exhale slowly and say, “I am free.” Repeat ten times.

That’s it.

Simple. Effective. And it works. Because your body and your breath are always the doorway back to centre, no matter what Uranus stirs up around you.

If you missed yesterday’s email about the 22nd degree of the Full Moon and the Universe card, I’ve posted it on my blog so you can catch up here: Click Here

If you’d like to carry the energy of The Fool with you, I’ve created a set of four phone wallpapers that go much deeper than they appear.

Each one is infused with the symbolism of The Fool, in color, animal totems, numerological and planetary glyphs, and affirmations drawn from magical texts. These aren’t just screensavers. They are magical codes for the modern day, a reminder of your courage, potential, and freedom every time you look at your phone.

You can download all four designs here:

Each one is ready to use as a lock screen or background so you can keep this energy close every day.

Your affirmations for this moment:
✦ I am a radiant being.
✦ I am a living treasure.
✦ I deeply honor and value the unlimited resource of courage that is within me.
✦ I respect the nature of who I am. There is nothing to fear.

Yesterday was the Universe, completion. Today is the Fool, the leap into the next adventure.

Both are true. Both belong.

The Method in the Madness

Neptune & Saturn Retrograde

Saturday, July 13, 2025

We arrive at the final lesson in our three-day journey, and tonight the skies mirror our work perfectly.

At 9 pm, Saturn joins Neptune in retrograde motion, under a Moon in Aquarius sparked by Mercury. This is not chaos. This is the method in the madness.

The Moon in Aquarius opens your mind to new ways of seeing yourself and your path. It invites you to step back and see the bigger picture, beyond the habits and emotions that usually cloud your view. Mercury’s spark sharpens your insight and brings sudden clarity to thoughts and truths you may have been avoiding. Together, they create the perfect conditions for reflection, discernment, and the kind of wisdom that only comes when you pause long enough to really see.

On this mystical bus we have been riding together, we’ve already traveled through the first theme of Completion and Clarity. Then we moved through the second theme of Liberation and Choice. And today, we arrive at our third theme, Discernment and Refinement, before we reach our final destination at the webinar tomorrow. I promise we have a destination. Beep beep, mystics driving here (say it in a New York accent, ya know).

Over the last two days, you’ve already been given so much. You’ve seen yourself through the eyes of the Universe, the Fool, the Lovers, and the Devil. You’ve received your personal horoscope, your ritual of rest, your collective Tarot reading, and your affirmations.

These teachings have already asked you to:
✦ name what has completed and what is already whole
✦ feel the hush between what was and what is
✦ trust your freedom to choose again and leap into the unknown
✦ remember your quiet courage and radiance

Today we step into the third and final lesson: Discernment and Refinement.

Saturn retrograde asks:
✦ What commitments or structures feel too heavy?
✦ Where am I holding myself to standards that no longer fit?

Neptune retrograde asks:
✦ Where have I been chasing an illusion?
✦ What is real now that I am finally willing to see it?

Together, Saturn and Neptune invite you to pause before moving forward. To notice what is true and what no longer belongs.

Your preparation for tomorrow is simple:

✦ Revisit your horoscope and let its message settle.
✦ Reflect on the Tarot cards from this journey. The Universe, the Fool, the Lovers, the Devil, and the collective reading. Notice which one stays with you now.
✦ Look at the affirmation wallpaper you chose and ask yourself why you chose it and what it is reminding you of.

Sit with these three questions:
✦ What am I ready to release?
✦ What choice is waiting for me to say yes?
✦ What truth am I finally ready to see clearly?

Take out a piece of paper tonight or make a cup of tea and cuddle up tomorrow before the webinar. Let yourself see what rises as you sit with these questions and bring what you discover with you into the session.

We bring it all together tomorrow. At 11 am Pacific Time, I will guide you through everything you’ve uncovered and help you weave it into a framework you can carry through the rest of this year and beyond.

I can’t wait to see you there.
